COURSE OVERVIEW:

The course is mainly for professional actors or people with strong interest and background in acting. In the four 4-hour workshops, participants will learn the basic principles of Commedia dell Arte and apply them to a contemporary style and method of acting compiled from improvisation, “state” work, and a series of exercises designed to allow and inspire each individual to be physically, emotionally, and mentally “open” and “free”.

The participants will learn that by making strong choices while engaged on the stage they can and will begin to shed self-conscious constraints that hinder true artistic expression, and this will further enable the participants to take the stage in an energetic/commanding way in order to work towards mastering the art of performance.

If you would like to enroll for the workshop, please contact us by email at theatre.de.rd@gmail.com, or by phone at 9288 2393 (Ms Lucretia Ho)
